Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Seraphim Technologies LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company operating from New York ("we", "us"), for your use of Selira Sounds ("Selira", "the app"). By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Selira.
Selira is not medical care
Selira is a wellbeing app. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and nothing in it is medical advice.
It is not a treatment for insomnia, anxiety, depression, or any other condition. If you are struggling with sleep or your mental health, please speak to a doctor or a qualified professional. Do not stop or change a prescribed treatment because of anything in this app.
If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line — Selira cannot help you and is not monitored.
Breathwork, and when not to do it
Breathing exercises change how you feel, and for some people that includes dizziness or light-headedness. Practise sitting or lying down.
Never do breathwork while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or in or near water.
Talk to a doctor before doing breathwork if you are pregnant, or if you have a respiratory condition, a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, or a history of fainting or panic attacks. Stop if you feel unwell.
Do not rely on the alarm
Selira's alarm is a convenience, not a guarantee. Whether it sounds depends on your device — its battery, its volume, its Focus and Do Not Disturb settings, whether iOS has suspended the app, and whether the device is switched on at all.
Do not rely on it alone for anything that matters. Use your device's built-in alarm for a flight, a shift, medication, or anything else with a real consequence. We are not responsible for a missed wake-up.
Listen at a safe volume
Prolonged listening at high volume can damage your hearing. Set the volume low, particularly with headphones and particularly overnight. Do not use Selira in a situation where not hearing your surroundings would put you or anyone else at risk.
Your account
You need an account to use Selira. Give accurate information, keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Subscriptions and billing
Some content requires Selira Premium, the subscription for this app. Subscriptions are sold through Apple and billed to your Apple ID.
Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
Subscriptions renew automatically. You are charged for the next period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current one ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings — uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Apple handles payment, and refunds are at Apple's discretion under its own terms. We cannot issue refunds for a purchase made through the App Store.
We may change prices. A change affects a renewal only after we have told you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Purchases through the App Store are also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
What you may and may not do
The audio, guided practices, text and design in Selira belong to Seraphim Technologies LLC or its licensors. Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the app, for yourself.
"Selira", "Selira Sounds", and the Selira logo are trademarks of Seraphim Technologies LLC. Nothing in these terms gives you the right to use them.
You may not extract, copy, redistribute, publish, resell, or use the audio in your own recordings, videos, streams, or any public performance. You may not share your account, work around access restrictions, reverse-engineer the app, or use it unlawfully.
What you create
Your saved mixes, saved sessions and breathing patterns are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them back to you across your devices. We do not use them for anything else, and they go when your account goes.
Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Selira, including individual scenes or practices. Content in the library may change as licences change. We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other people or the service at risk. Anything that should reasonably survive the end of this agreement does, including the disclaimers and the limits below.
Disclaimers and limits
Selira is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Seraphim Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Selira is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You may also have consumer rights that these terms cannot override.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top and, when the change is significant, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Selira after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
